"Botox"® has become a commonly heard word and most people know it is associated with anti ageing treatments

It is actually the trade name for the naturally occuring protein produced by the Botulinum bug - The protein relaxes muscle it is injected into by binding to the chemical responsible for muscle contraction. The process takes 1 to 2 weeks to have maximal effect and is completely reversed in three months.
